April 21 - Blood Work
Dr. V is a little concerned that the two labs (Our local lab with Nice Nurse and the lab at the CHaD) are not the same with Levi's blood work numbers, so we are running a little experiment this week. We are headed up to Lebanon for an infusion appointment tomorrow so we are doing blood work as late as possible today in order to get the numbers as close together as possible. Our lab closes at 3:00, so we are aiming to get there at 2:45.
Jay picked up Levi at daycare at 2:00, poor guy got woken up from his nap after only 40 minutes! Could make for a long afternoon. They rushed to Dover to be there for 2:45. I met them there and was waiting outside when I saw them walking up. They got there at about 2:50 and we went running inside to make sure we made it in time. We were the last people of the day, but we made it to see Nice Nurse.
The lab draw went as well as always. Jay finally got to see what we talk about. Levi went right inside and picked out his band-aid. He picked out a puppy band-aid, this band-aid had three of the puppies on it, so that made him pretty happy. Nice Nurse drew the blood and Levi was off and running to the treasure box like usual. Jay was a little shocked at how quick he can get over there. He picked out a pencil and pad of paper again.
We headed out of the lab. Levi ran right to his fountain as per usual. And showed Daddy where it was and what it was.
Levi had a haircut so we headed to Hampton for that, and then we were heading straight up to Lebanon to stay at David's House before his infusion. The call came in with his numbers on our way to Lebanon. Levi's count was at 266. A slight decrease from Monday but nothing serious.
--Sorry for the slow writing of this post, The last few weeks have been a little crazy!! I'll get back on track after this :)
