November 22 - Blood Work
Well we are here on a Wednesday since tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We have never had a good and healthy Thanksgiving with Levi, so we are praying that nothing has happened in the last two days to make his counts fall.
We got to the lab and there was no line so we went right in. He picked out a huge Blaze band-aid and was super excited about it. He is concentrating in the picture because he can't get it open and it's frustrating him. He did eventually get it!
The blood draw went quick and easy as usual! Levi got another donut today because we are out of milk at home so I couldn't make him breakfast. Since we leave tomorrow for the holidays I am not buying milk until we got home. He was pretty excited to get another donut! The regular donut lady was not there and he was very worried about her. So Donut Lady, if you read this, We hope you are ok and just starting your holiday a little early.
I dropped Levi at school and then went home to cross my fingers that all is good. Counts took awhile to come in, but when they did the number was 391!! Sweet!!! Maybe we will actually have a good and healthy Thanksgiving for the first time in Levi's life!! Please everyone keep your fingers crossed that he doesn't spike a fever or a stomach bug tonight or while I am out Black Friday Shopping!! It's his fourth Thanksgiving it's about time he had a good one!!
