June 14 - Blood Work

We got to the lab and there was no line and no waiting. Levi went running right in to pick his band-aid. He was so excited that there were PJ Masks band-aids. He went running right over to P and showed her them!

Then he brought the box to me and asked me to find a Gecko one for him. It took a little hunting but I was able to find several Gecko's and let him pick which one.

Then he climbed up to play Thomas the Train while he waited for P to get ready.

The draw went super quick as always! P really is amazing at her job. And then we were off to the treasure box. Levi struggled to pick something from the box. He hunted around and around, pulling things out and putting them on the floor before he finally settled on a green fish tank. I convinced him that we wouldn't put the water in this one until we got home since unbeknownst to him I blew up his last little fish tank in my car, with the water and sun all day! oops!!

Then since it was Thursday we were off to see the Donut Lady! Levi was excited that there were sprinkle donuts!!

There was a bit of wait at the donuts, but Levi did a good job waiting. Finally it was his turn, he gave his hugs, ordered his donut, and paid for it.

Then we were off to school.

It took a little bit for counts to come in, but not the worst amount of time! His count is 348!! An amazing increase since Monday. It just goes to show what a couple of infusions can do for Levi and how his life can change in a week!!
